Oakland Street was renumbered sometime between 1904 and 1910; this house was originally numbered 52 Oakland St., but was changed to 136 Oakland St. The house has been sided, the porch has been changed, and there are no shutters.

Springfield, Mass, Sept. 28/06. Dear Nettie. We are all well but have sold this house, 52 Oakland, and have moved into another part of city near Albert's work. I hated to leave this house but thought we better sell. Our address now is 38 Princeton St. Fine weather here. Ida.
