This postcard has a St. Petersburg Florida postmark, but seems likely to be of Springfield, seemingly from people on vacation written to a relative. The recipient is Raymond C. Warner, husband of Esther M., from city directory. His father, also Raymond C. lived in Florida at the time.
St. Petersburg Fla, Dec 18 '47 - Dear Ray & family, Joe & I are having a fine time down here. Your father looks fine. The weather is cloudy. Enjoy seeing Poinsettas & orang {sic} groves, etc. Are wondering if you have snow. Xmas decorations are very pretty. Joe & I are enjoying every minute. Sincerely Cora & Joe.
