Notes

This house is a 5-family unit (this can be deduced by the 5 doorbells on the front). The neighborhood that it is in was still being developed in 1912 (the postmark on the card), there is a partially finished house in the background. The neighborhood may have been home to Black residents of Springfield, since the two children on the left, as well as the two women on the right, appear to be Black. There appear to be other multi-family dwellings in this neighborhood. Also, note that the street is not paved.
